Advent Series

December 3, 10, 17 and January 7 at 4:00 PM

Advent is the season we eagerly anticipate the appearance of divine love and salvation in human form. Jesus’s birth changed everything! His holy presence in our hearts and communities changes everything still. 

This Advent we are meeting to worship, to pray, and to reflect expectantly on the gifts we receive and give in Christ. Our Advent meetings consist of two parts, Evening Prayer followed by a Spiritual Tune-Up.  During the “Tune-Up” we will work with questions intended to get us thinking about our spiritual history, our current spiritual condition, and where we feel God may be taking us in 2018.

Since some of us are not able to attend these Advent gatherings, we will be posting (1) the teaching from Evening Prayer, (2) the discussion questions and (3) the reflection questions from the Tune-Up. They will be available the following Tuesday.
