During Advent and Christmas Holy Comforter will be participating in the One Thousand Days of Love campaign sponsored by Episcopal Relief and Development. Together with Episcopalians across the country, we are helping ERD raise $3 million for their programs that directly benefit children under the age of six. These programs ensure that children have access to clean water, nutritious food, and educational opportunities.

This year, instead of asking our parishioners to donate money for Advent greens and Christmas poinsettias, we are asking for those gifts to be given to Episcopal Relief and Development for this important campaign. Especially this year, we want to help the poorest of the poor and the most vulnerable in our human family. 

When you make a gift in memory of someone or in thanksgiving for something, we will make a Christmas ornament for you with your dedication on it. Those ornaments will decorate the Christmas tree at Holy Comforter and you will be able to take those ornaments home after Epiphany.
