The Stewardship Committee has been thinking about our Holy Comforter community and how we are all “one body, with many parts”.  At Holy Comforter we are called to “worship God, love our neighbors, create community, follow Jesus and steward our resources.”

None of us can live into this calling by ourselves.  We need the help and support of each other.  Each of us has a unique talent, skill or gift. And as part of the body of Christ we are called to share our time and gifts. 

 Will you spend more time worshiping God, or caring for our community and our neighbors? What if you committed to doing one thing? Could you pray for 10 minutes a day, or give someone a ride to church, or call someone who is lonely or serve as an usher?  Could you do just one thing? If each of us commits to one or two things, what a difference we can make!
