Kate Mumey is grateful to live into her Curacy here at Holy Comforter with all of you. Kate has been involved in the life of the Episcopal Church for her entire life, and began her ordained ministry in June 2026. Before arriving at Holy Comforter, Kate served in a lay capacity at Christ Church Cathedral, Houston before attending Virginia Theological Seminary where she graduated with her Masters in Divinity. 

When not at the church, Kate is often found reading anything and everything, checking out a new documentary, or gathered around a boardgames table with friends and snacks. Kate hopes you won’t hesitate to reach out!
